The roast beef I didn't get made last night. I am headed down the mountain to the liquor store, as I want to cook it in dark beer.

*Vacation began on 12/18. Tomorrow I work from home then on the road Wednesday, followed by a company-holiday four day weekend.
This has been the most relaxing staycation ever and so glad I had today off as it's been a wintry mix of freezing rain/rain for around 11 hours now.

(35,729 posts)I have the week off, and while I had to work at home to get my grades posted today, I am now in full time-off mode. I am so enjoying the fact that I don't have to get up and go somewhere tomorrow!
Your menu sounds so good. Love gnocci, and your veggies sound delicious, too.
Red wine all around! I got my stout, also, for my roast beef, which I am going to take the advice of LaundryQueen and use the pressure cooker tonight.
Cold here, too, and supposed to start rain/sleet tonight.
