What I was planning for lunch, I'm having for dinner--pizza!
I cannot believe I talked on the phone all day. I never do that. So I didn't get the pizza done.
Pizza will have chopped green pepper, garlic, and onion. I already covered the pizza base with mozzarella. Also, the RG made an incredible bolognese sauce, which I will spread over the top.
I'll snip off some herbs from my indoor marjoram and basil plants and sprinkle them on the top, too.

(9,839 posts)bitter cold for the next couple days. I realize that bitter for Georgia is a nice day for those folks further north. Still, I have to make sure my well keeps functioning and my pipes don't freeze, keep food and water out for the birds, too.
We're having leftover chicken pie, corn, broccoli.

(2,016 posts)With sauteed veggies (broccoli, mushrooms and carrots), and rice pilaf.
Didn't make it to the grocery today, so the peas soup will be tomorrow. The dinner party in Pasadena ended up being a chili-fest! Great chili, lots of sides. Great conversations. Got to see my ol' pal Bill Nye again, so that was cool. And, a new member of the "usual suspects": Bob Picardo, from Star Trek : Voyager ("The Doctor" . Really nice guy, with a great sense of humor.
