Seafood salad over tossed greens. It has shrimp, calimari, and vegetables in it. Loaded with garlic and olive oil.
Next up are these interesting Asian-style pancakes the RG made. Can't say too much about them other than that they are a beautiful golden color with flecks of herbs in them. Looks like maybe some baby shrimp,
Then sliced pork loin with this wasabi/mayonnaise sauce that will make a grown person cry. This will be served room temp.
Red wine.
For dessert, fruit salad. I picked up the most incredibly beautiful baby watermelon and cantalope, too. Small red grapes. I'll mix all three of these together with strawberries.

(9,833 posts)another day or two. Roasted chicken with cornbread dressing, buttered red potatoes, steamed broccoli.
I picked a bucket of mustard greens and kale from the garden yesterday and wilted it. Will have that tomorrow. I love, love, love mustard greens, but they need to be mixed with other greens as they are rather strong. The first time I cooked them, I didn't know to open the pot and let out the steam before bending over to stir. Big mistake. I know why there were so many soldiers who suffered in WWI from mustard gas poisoning. They also stink up the house worse than collards. Nag champa really comes in handy!

Spuds, carrots, mushrooms, green beans, pearl onions. Might be a while before I make a stew again, the temps are rising here in the High Desert.
