(133 posts)I have bought all of my flour (and many other ingredients) from King Arthur for years. They are an employee owned company.
I am a lifelong baker. We rarely bought any bread products from the store. About 4 years ago, I had to go gluten free. Horrendous news for a baker since gluten free bread is, at best, tolerable. Thankfully, KA is on the case and is developing some really good recipes and flour blends. I saw that the winner of this contest could choose whether they wanted gf or regular floor. Cool.

(111,339 posts)The price was horrendous but the flour is so much nicer to bake with that I paid it.
Then I developed a wheat allergy. I should probably bulk order their wheat free flours. I miss the smell of bread in here every week.
