Posting mine later--in a rush.

Later:

Pasta with vegetable cream sauce and chicken sausages on the side.

After running late Friday afternoon errands, I stopped at Trader Joe's where they were sampling the most interesting salad. I have all the ingredients, so I'm going to try making it this weekend. It was watermelon, feta cheese, avocado, and bacon jerky! It was so delicious--and those bacon jerky pieces added both texture and surprise flavor. It was so good that I went back a 2nd time and was so happy the sampling lady had gone off her shift (so I didn't appear to be such a pig).

I bought some fun weekend goodies: Meyer lemon thin cookies, a jar of peanut satay, a couple bottles of KC bold BBQ sauce, pkg. of bratwurst, pizza crusts, and pepper turkey bacon. Oh, and Chinese dumplings.

Clams, mussels, cod, shrimp, squid with San Marzano tomatoes and artichoke 1/4s. (garlic, fresh parsley, white pepper, too). Probably deglaze with white wine before I dump the tomatoes in.
