What's for Dinner, Fri., July 22, 2016

The RG is coming in from Italy and will arrive at 5 p.m. I’m picking him up and we are heading to our favorite place in the Ironbound, a Portuguese restaurant. I think I’m having a cold lobster salad.

Of course we will probably have a pitcher of white or red sangria.

I've avoided all of my favorites during chemo, afraid I could ruin them forever for me (I've read that can happen). Lobster/King crab salad would be right up there, along with many other crustaceans.
I had my final treatment, and in just about two weeks, I'll be getting my taste buds back for real! Cannot wait. I still punch myself for not making chocolate mousse the weekend before treatment started (I was too depressed). I have got such a long list...it'll be 126 days since that first chemo.
