What's for Dinner, Wed., Jan. 18, 2017

What happened to my thread? I thought I posted it. But in checking back to see if anyone else posted, I can't find it. Well, anyway, here's what I meant to post:

Highly seasoned pork steak with a fried egg and cheese over it. Spinach-bacon-mushroom salad.

Dessert: strawberries and bananas with peach sorbet on the top.

I'm doing some extreme low-carbing, so I added half a HB egg, two strips of bacon, a little bit of pepperoni, and blue cheese to my greens. For The Guy, pepperoni, an egg, and chickpeas. I actually fried three pieces of bacon, and saved one for dessert!
What a pleasure to have my taste buds back -- that was one of the worst chemo side effects.

I've had a cold and didn't have much of an appetite the last few days. I've regained that appetite, and then some.

I had a large serving of pasta with tomato and meat sauce and garlic bread late this afternoon.

For dinner, I had the last of the bean soup with some cheddar cheese on top and a piece of garlic bread.
For dessert, some cranberry bread with a mug of Constant Comment tea.
