What's for Dinner, April 5, 2017

I'm planting onion sets and garlic today, so I'm just having something from the freezer. I pulled out a small steak and some shrimp. Maybe I'll glaze the shrimp with some pepper jelly.

Also some delicious looking pasta that the RG made: looks like tortellini in tomato sauce.

I'll toss a salad and hopefully use a little originality there. I'm thinking tangerine slices, toasted almonds, and red leaf lettuce plus a little endive.

We're having turkey breast marinated in Italian dressing, mashed potatoes, turkey stuffing, Stove Top & some vegetable.

Ground chuck with a sprinkle of blue cheese crumbles, sharp cheddar, lightly sauteed onion, spicy brown mustard and tomato slice on a sourdough roll.

I missed lunch, so I guess this is really lunch.

I'll have some salad and jambalaya later if I'm hungry.

I bought some great-looking fresh shrimp for myself, but I'm just not in the mood, so I'll just eat some smoked salmon with onion, Jarlsberg thinly sliced, and of course, Temp-Tee! No-bagel and Lox!

Sockeye salmon, asparagus and potatoes. Everything rubbed with olive oil and sprinkled with S&P and dill weed. A lovely $2.89 Pinot Grigio from Aldis (smaller town Trader Joe's )
