The big treat is the lemon sherbet I made today. It was a simple recipe, just juice, zest, cream, milk, and just enough sugar. I'll report back later (I like to save my dessert for a late-night treat).

(11,770 posts)like a baked cobbler, but done on the stove top with dumpling. I cheat a tiny bit, and sprinkle mine with cinnamon/sugar when it's done and pop it under the broiler for a minute or two. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipping cream.
