(1,706 posts)just grapefruit for a side. Anyone else still dealing with turkey leftovers?
We did the Turkey on last Saturday since TJ was working Thanksgiving night.
I made more gravy from the carcass stock. TJ likes it with the white meat in open face sandwiches.
I am going to make a Jambalaya like dish with the thigh meat, shrimp and Andouille sausage. I think the dark meat will go well in this dish.
We are not making soup this year! The gravy from the stock turned out so good that another batch of gravy is in the future. I'm freezing the rest of the stock and some of the meat for that.

(17,441 posts)Thin ones from the little store's butcher with seasonings TBD. I've got garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper out, but undecided.
Sweet Potato
Stewed Apples with cinnamon.
I will be checking the produce in the refrigerator for the possibility of a salad.
TJ is off to work around 8:30 so I will have it cooked by then. She will decide to take some to work, eat it right away, or ignore it for other plentiful options.
