Salad: Parsnip, Pink Grapefruit, & Blueberries. Parsnips, shaved thin and blanched. Pink grapefruit sections and either blueberries or craisins. Of course, I always reconstitute my craisins in warmed up orange juice, but if I go with blueberries, they are fresh and need no reconstituting. Mint leaves.

The dressing for this is unsweetened coconut, ginger, and lemon juice, all blended together. I plan on serving it over my garden greens.

Main course: spicy shrimp over rice.

Dessert: coffee cookies with hazelnut spread and a drizzle of orange marmalade. Cold Earl Grey tea, 'cuz I made up a big pot of it today.

1. Ordering pasta from La Stanza

My office is a block away from this fantastic NY pasta restaurant. Our building is privately owned and there's a garden on the roof from where you can see the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. Since it's a lovely evening, we're going to order in and watch the night take over the city's skyline.
