Andrew Zimmern on pig-face soup, 'American' food, and hating the name of his show

Don't know how many of you like "Bizarre Foods", but it's a favorite at my house. I think the article has some interesting things to say about food and culture. (some coarse language, if that offends you)

I'd be interested to try his new Chinese restaurant he's opening. I lived in Beijing for a year and in Taipei for four years, and I'd like to see his take on Chinese food.

He's super enthusiastic and positive and always shows great respect to the food and culture of the places he visits. I also follow him on Twitter and he posts anti-Trump and pro-Democrat stuff, so that's an added bonus for me

I've said for years that my dream dinner date with my culinary heroes would be Anthony Bourdain, Jen Agg, and Andrew Zimmern. Unfortunately there's now an empty seat at that table, but I'd still love to meet Andrew and chat food and food culture with him. He seems like an amazing guy.
