What's for Dinner, Sun., July 22, 2018

We have a Japanese buffet going here tonight:

Baby eggplants with wasabi
Pickled turnip and cucumber brochettes
Crispy fried prawn balls
Grilled pork brochettes
and also: Pork roast w wasabi crust, slices
Snow peas in garlic soy sauce, has bits of red pepper
Spinach w/garlic
Baby bokchoy in spicy sauce
Vegetable fritters (zucchini, carrots, onion)

Mixed precut veggies (bok choy, kale, snow peas, etc.) in a ginger sauce.
Added some of the leftover pulled pork and served over rice.

FLFC not yet available for comment.

Edit: FLFC demanded a sniff of the stir-fries and gave them a resounding MEH. He ate some of thin sliced flank steak which was shredded and rewarmed for him. He is much more concerned about TJ getting ready to go to work than he is about his dinner. I'm sure he will sing some blues at the door when she leaves. I don't know how such a big noise comes from such a little dog.

Butter lettuce with carrot, bell pepper, onion, cilantro and pepperjack cheese. Starkist lemon dill salmon on top.
A fresh peach for dessert.

Your Japanese buffet does sound super good!
