What's for Dinner, Thurs., Oct 4, 2018

Turkey burger or maybe a bison burger on an onion roll. All the trimmings: lettuce, avocado, mayo and cheddar cheese plus tomato, too.

Tossed salad w/ranch dressing.

Some kinda' cookie for dessert.

Can you tell the RG is out of town? Gonna' take some liberties on the low-carb dining plan.

We're at the mountain house and we're in need of comfort food.

Boneless pork ribs are slow cooking in the crock pot with a thin coating of barbecue sauce. Just before serving, I'll flash cook them on the grill.

The sides will be the usual for a barbecue: cole slaw, baked beans and freshly baked corn bread.

Pears and cream sherry for dessert.

At my age, it's silly to assume my longevity was based on eating anything healthy. Instead, I ate whatever I wanted, in moderation. Lacking all discipline, I've dined my way for decades.

It's no hardship for me to make tacos again. Todays' will be shredded chicken in some type of tomato based "Mexican style" sauce, pico de gallo, avocado, cheese& sour cream

Tossed salad with some olives, deli turkey and grated sharp cheddar on top with ranch dressing.

FLFC is asleep, but a tiny burger cooked just for him awaits his hunger pangs.
