I'm headed to Whole Foods to buy one of their giant pizza crusts. The RG is making the sauce, which is tomato-basil. As toppings, it looks like a little sausage, caramelized onion, maybe some green pepper. Of course parmesan cheese. Maybe a little mozzarella.
Drinking beer tonight with this pizza. I rarely drink it, but I do like it with pizza or burgers.
While waiting for my pizza crust, I'll prowl around looking for some type of interesting dessert.

(22,037 posts)We've got some beautiful thick boneless chops. I'll slice them sideways and stuff with apple sauce with a dash of cinnamon.
Mashed garlic potatoes with minced onion cooked in. Romaine lettuce salad with cherry tomatoes, raisins and walnuts.
Slices of apple for dessert.

(35,685 posts)Hi, PJMck, missed you the last few days!
For dessert, I'm going to slice Pink Lady apples. I bought something kind of interesting, which I have not ever tried: vanilla hummus. Yes, it is made as a dip for fruit.
I also have some salt sea chocolate for dessert.

(22,037 posts)I was in the hospital for a few days to get a stent put into a nearly blocked artery. I feel immeasurably better! I wrote about it here:

Now, I have to stop eating like a teenager. I'm told food tastes fine without salt although I'm skeptical.
