First course is soup because it's cool and rainy out. The RG made this soup out of pulses and lentils and barley. It's a variety that you an buy in a bag for whatever purpose you want. He put in prosciutto cubes and it will be topped with a little crema Mexicana and chopped cilantro.
Next up is Asian pork lettuce cups.
Dessert is choice of chocolate pudding with walnuts or vanilla rice pudding. Chamomille tea.
It's thundering!

(35,713 posts)That sounds horrible, PJMcK. I hope you're off the taxiway and on your way home. It keeps raining here--a little break, then more rain.

(22,045 posts)I have to stay in Motown for the night. The only flight I could get is at 5:45 am!
Meanwhile, I had a terrific chicken pot pie with an arugula salad.
In spite of difficulties, one should always eat well!
See you tomorrow.
