Just made oven roasted asparagus with oilive oil, lemon, garlic powder, s&p,

and a little parmisan. I never knew you could just bend the asparagus and it will snap off at the exact right place to get rid of the woody parts. I ate the whole thing myself. Yum. Will do it more often.

almost 50 years! Just learned how to cut matchstick vegetables in a better way than I'd been doing from a very funny Korean woman (Maangchi). There are Italian grandmas making pasta, Turkish women making stews, Instant Pot devotees -- it's a candy shop for cooks! Oh and better-than-takeout-Chinese food.

but no garlic CLOVES? I would have roasted some along with the asparagus (and with a little head start). But that's just me.
