"Cold brew is really as simple as mixing ground coffee with cool water and steeping the mixture in the fridge overnight. The next day you strain the mixture, leaving you with a concentrate (it's strong, so you'll want to dilute it) that can be served right away or stored for up to two weeks."

It is similar, to me, as making refrigerator tea, but it does take several hours more.

I usually do cold brew in warmer weather, I have had 2 pots for cold brew, IMO, the original NOLA type Toddy pot is a bigger pain to clean b/c of the number of parts. I have a similiar to this pot, which is a lid, borosilicate glass carafe and stainless steel filter, similiar to this type-

Usually I treat myself on the weekend and go to Dunkin, or Starbucks, etc. for some iced coffee, but with the virus going on I stayed home. The cold brew info will come in handy as I will be making it myself for a while

By 7:00 I had bacon, eggs and toast, coffee and fruit ready when my wife got up. I knew she would be up when our dog, asleep in the bedroom, started smelling the bacon.

Made with Brioche. Apricot preserves on top. Thinly sliced ham to accompany. Ginger tea.

Coming up, and orange.
