You will need the largest pan in your house.
Ingredients for 1-2 people:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- half a pound mushrooms, cleaned
- 1 tomato, cut in half (alternatively 1 small onion, peeled, quartered)
- 2-3 slices of blood-sausage, 1 inch thick
- half a pound of pork-sausages (coarsely minced is better than a fine mince)
- a few slices of thinly sliced bacon
- 1 can of baked beans
- 2 eggs
1.
Melt butter. Blood-sausage at side of pan. Tomato cut-side down at side of pan. Roast the mushrooms gently stirring, but don't move the tomatoes and blood-sausage. When the mushrooms are almost done, shove to the side of the pan.
2.
Add pork-sausages. Don't flip the tomatoes and blood-sausage too early, they need their time. When the sausages are almost done, shove to the side of the pan.
3.
Fry the bacon. Store it on top of the vegetables. Make some room in the pan by piling the food on the left side of the pan. Add the baked beans and let them heat up for few minutes. Shove the baked beans to the center of the pan, make some room on the right side of the pan. Crack the eggs into the empty spot. Lid on the pan. Steam-fry for 5 minutes and you will have firm eggwhites and soft yolk.
4.
Maybe sprinkle with some chopped parsley. Serve with toast. Lots of toast.
Or... if you want to ham it up some more...
- oven-baked hash-browns
- HP-sauce (british version of ketchup, but tastes better)
- orange-juice
- tea
- toast, butter & jam
