(146,218 posts)I tried the trader joe's boxed stuff and didn't like it at all, but I have yet to make it from scratch.

(12,253 posts)I keep stocked up on all kinds of noodles, sriracha, condiments, spices, rice, sesame seed, fresh vegetables like long beans or fingerling bok choy, and canned specialties that look interesting on the outside. I did not make the rice noodles at home.

(3,744 posts)I got some for .49 each at Sprouts today. That's the cheapest I've seen them in years!
Forgot that I'm having baked Tilapia, fried potatoes (in organic Canola oil) and an Argula salad. Yum!

(146,218 posts)But we are now (thankfully) on a mooring, so the winds and seas aren't such a bother.
I suspect we will have lots of fun. There is some live music in town and I am up for it.
When we came around yesterday, we were in the middle of a dolphin stampede for about an hour. I have never, ever seen such a large group and they just wanted to be near us. It was magical. Once whatshisname edits his video and puts it up on youtube, I am going to post it here.
Wish you were here (as always).

(146,218 posts)If he doesn't do it over the weekend, I am going to do it.
This has been a big whale siting season, too, but I don't like to get too close.
The dolphins, on the other hand, are amazing.
