I tried the trader joe's boxed stuff and didn't like it at all, but I have yet to make it from scratch.

I keep stocked up on all kinds of noodles, sriracha, condiments, spices, rice, sesame seed, fresh vegetables like long beans or fingerling bok choy, and canned specialties that look interesting on the outside. I did not make the rice noodles at home.

I got some for .49 each at Sprouts today. That's the cheapest I've seen them in years!

Forgot that I'm having baked Tilapia, fried potatoes (in organic Canola oil) and an Argula salad. Yum!

Spent the afternoon hiking and really had the wrong meal planned as it took a lot of time to make, but I didn't know it would be such a beautiful day .

But we are now (thankfully) on a mooring, so the winds and seas aren't such a bother.

I suspect we will have lots of fun. There is some live music in town and I am up for it.

When we came around yesterday, we were in the middle of a dolphin stampede for about an hour. I have never, ever seen such a large group and they just wanted to be near us. It was magical. Once whatshisname edits his video and puts it up on youtube, I am going to post it here.

Wish you were here (as always).

So looking forward to the video!!!

I had the incredibly great good fortune to watch some humpback whales bubble net feeding this past fall... it was exhilarating!!!

If he doesn't do it over the weekend, I am going to do it.

This has been a big whale siting season, too, but I don't like to get too close.

The dolphins, on the other hand, are amazing.

Just kidding, but that's the finish. I've gotten a chocolate taste back. So it'll be breaded baked chicken thighs, asparagus, rice and brownies.

With DH out of town, I'm finding it hard to get motivated to cook. An appreciative audience contributes SO much to the experience.
