What's for Dinner, Fri., June 12, 2020

Steak with sauce the RG made.

Tortellini with asparagus and broccoli rabe in cream sauce and topped with pecorino.

Corn. Tossed green salad using a head of romaine I grew in my garden. I also used ruffly lettuce and added the tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and red and green pepper.

No dessert tonight.

Just about to take out of the oven my first stab at making bread. I used the recipe that Kenji Alt-Lopez demonstrated on the Serious Eats website.

Getting the ingredients was a bit challenging. I bought a POUND of instant yeast from a baking website and then bought 10 pounds of flour from an artisan flour mill on Amazon.

We shall see!
