Coffee now, buttered toast later.

Geez, I could use someone bringing me a breakfast plate.

1. Hot black coffee.

Salad:

Iceberg lettuce

Green peppers

Fresh tomatoes

Sharp cheddar cheese, cubed

2 hard boiled eggs

Ranch salad dressing

2. Fresh fruit over toasted lemon cake and Greek yogurt.

Cantaloupe, strawberries, bananas and pineapple. I have some yellow cake leftover, so I'm going to cut it into squares, add a lot of fresh lemon juice, sprinkle on some sugar and caramelize them. Top a cake square with vanilla Greek yogurt and add fruit. Serve with delicious, beautiful red hibiscus tea.

3. Coffee and cream now

Whole grain pancakes with blueberries later.

4. Omelet made with creme fraiche, sauteed Baby Bella mushrooms, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
