I have a loaf of sourdough rising. And I made pizza mushrooms, which turned out really good.

I've been eating low carb. I get a pack of fresh mushrooms, clean and slice them, at least in half, put them in an 8 x 8 pan, then top with whatever pizza toppings I have. Today, I had pizza sauce, pepperoni, Mozzarella, and sauted some peppers and onions. Added basil and garlic, a little crushed red pepper flakes. Baked at 425 for about 12 minutes.
You have to eat it with a fork, but it tastes like pizza I usually just cut some sun-dried tomatoes into it, but I'm trying to use up a jar of pizza sauce I opened on the weekend.

(2,947 posts)since I split my face open in September and the swelling is not all gone yet so it's hard to chew anything. Bite-size for me is appetizer fork size.
My shrimp tonight will be cut into really small pieces but I'm looking forward to something other than pancakes and soup.
