Related: About this forumTIL-today I learned, Pain au chocolat is what in America is a chocolate croissant
And it goes well with English breakfast tea.
And if you put the pastry in a prewarmed toaster oven 300/3min while the tea steeps, well a nice snack on a dull winter Saturday.

(7,633 posts)pain au chocolat in France has a rectangular shape like a small sandwich. Croissant is crescent moon shaped and even with chocolate in it, its not called pain au chocolat.
I do agree with how delectable they are warmed up with tea.😋
