Recipe received from an English friend’s wife.
Hand written and then photographed and texted!

More WA potatoes boiled smashed seasoned and baked till golden. Have a protein veggie barley mix in the freezer. Probably make that as a side too. I add garlic and butter to this as it heats in the microwave

Today was chopped collards, turnip greens, and parsley with tomato, tomato sauce and a handful of scallops. Half a swiss cheese sandwich. Chocolate chips for desert.

...which made Missy very happy (mroww!)
I made my husband fried flounder and a rice mix from a box.
For moi, the last of the king crab I bought on sale, made into salad, in my newest discovery, cabbage-leaf wraps.
Coleslaw for both of us.
Later I'll have one of my orange-yogurt popsicles.

It was a lazy evening, so I made InstantPot macaroni and cheese—not as good as the baked kind, but much easier and miles above the boxed kind. Asparagus from one of those microwave steamer bags on the side. Much as I love those microwave steamer bags, the asparagus variety isn’t any good. Only fresh asparagus in the future.
