Made Bloody Marys with bacon vodka and hot pepper vodka for brunch.
**Used to travel 40 miles for my fav Bloody Mary once in a while. Called the Bistro Mary. It was a meal and a (strong) drink! Back in the 90s it cost $10.00. Today would be a $20 drink??
Served in a huge glass with big shrimp, asparagus, green beans, carrots, pearl onion and green olives, celery, green onion and a large slice of crusty bread that had been grilled. That was my brunch. The bistro was on the grounds of a winery on the MO river. Great wine and even better food! Mmmmmm. Their carrot cake was too die for!

Today I used flavored vodkas and the traditional tomato juice. Just didnt call it out when I listed the vodkas I used. The bacon flavor really came through ! Used 3shots bacon vodka and 1 1/2 shots of pepper vodka, then about 3 oz tomato juice and a large slice of lime that was very juicy - so maybe an ounce of lime. Then shook all that with ice and poured over new ice. My tomato juice is real thick so I the glass arent full I put a couple ounces water in the shaker and finish filling the glass. Made two 16 oz glasses. Used 1 tsp of the homemade seasoning for each serving and shook that with the other ingredients
So good. I have a nice buzz. Would have another but cooking soon for later so needs wits about me. 😄
