I've never noticed the beauty of a Maple Tree leaf bud when it opens.

It looks like a very exotic insect.

helicopters cover the sidewalk, making a big mess. Plus it seems they sprout in all my patio potted plants, and I hate ripping out the maple babies. It is truly gorgeous. Thank you for the reminder to SLOW DOWN, and not just LOOK, but actually SEE the beauty around us.
