Jimmy is Down!

Damn! I woke up at 4:30 to the sound of crashing tree limbs. Big maple in my front yard lost a couple of big branches, which fell right across a lot of my containers.

I have to work today, so the search and rescue mission for survivors will have to be tonight.

Maples must be especially vulnerable to winds. Several people I know in the DC area lost limbs off perfectly healthy maples in last week's wind storm.

Hope the damage to the containers turns out to be minimal.

So sorry. I have lost some big branches in the past, and I can appreciate the work ahead for you. I just love my trees, but there are problems.
