A soldier is deployed to Afghanistan for a 9-month-tour. He leaves his dog with a "good friend". The friend always says, the dog is doing fine. When he returns, his dog is gone.

I read about this and just can't understand
how such a supposedly good friend could give away or sell the dog. The dog is
micro chipped so hopefully some vet
will see or hear about it and scan the dogs
that come in.
