This is a photo of a pup being sprung from MACC (Minneapolis Animal Care and Control)
moments before being scheduled to be euthanized...If anyone ever wonders why us crazy dog people do what we do...Just show them this photo. This is what it is all about!!!

I got the message without watching and it's sickening. I have too good of an imagination.

That's a beautiful picture! Can't tell me dogs don't have feelings of love and appreciation. Hope they have a long and wonderful life together.

with the lab rescue locally. I've broken a couple out of the local shelter and delivered them to the Vet for the group. Our county has a tin shack they use to collect up strays & will release them to the owners or charitable rescues - no adoption process other than that. They get the allotted time and then they are euthanized. And that is better than the counties down here who still have gas chambers - it is deplorable.

I rescued a lab/pit bull mix. He is such a good companion and now I don't know what I'd do without him.
