(18,219 posts)is what having a cat in our lives makes us look like. None of that healthy crap for us. Just lounge around, being cool and getting fat. Maybe a little catnip here and there.
Well, unless you consider the times he doesn't come home when I call him and I have to search for him....the little rascal! (But usually, he is really good about coming when he is called. Good. I hate when I have to get off my butt and walk!)

(11,065 posts)I'm proof positive that I'm mentally and emotionally healthier having my doggies, and I always figured that translated to also being physically healthier not just because of exercising with the pets but mental and emotional problems cause stress that can cause all kinds of physical problems, since pets help so much to aleviate stress - well, there ya go.
Pets are just the best.
