My first Akita loved lots of fruits. He once ate a whole grapefruit... peel, seeds and everything. But he LOVED bananas... the inside layer of the peel was his favorite part though. He'd search through the trash for banana peels to scrape off the inner part of the peel to eat, and no matter how black and shriveled would nom them up. He had a sensitive stomach though and they usually made him barf, but he desperately wanted to eat them anyway. Eventually I had to hide the peels from him in a container I kept in the freezer and would throw them out only when just about to take the trash out to the curb.

Neither the next Akita or the one I have now care for fruits. They both liked/like lots of veggies though even the ones I think are gross, like lima beans. I really hate limas and they don't seem to be very easy to escape. Fortunately, with these two I could/can always just pluck them out of my soup or frozen veggies and pile them up for the doggie to eat when I'm done.

I'd figure that some kitties would like odd human foods, too, that you wouldn't suspect. I'm betting they're too smart to like limas though.
