5.5 to 8.5 lbs in 10 days. No wonder puppies sleep so much.

She's doing well, + weeks now. I was concerned that she wasn't wanting to eat much yesterday but today is hungry again. I can feel her spine and she's very happy but HOW can she gain 3 lbs in this short of time?

Eat, 3p's (play, pee, poop), sleep.

She reminds us of one of those long balloons. Squeeze part and another part gets bigger. Then the rest fills up. First it was big stomach, then suddenly her head was huge. Looking at her a couple days ago and my heart sunk since her feet were so much larger than a few days ago. She's doing well, happy, healthy, vx'd.

Eat, 3p's, sleep. Repeat.

Our white tips have proved that over the years. Yours will, too.

I adopted my dog as a puppy, too (five years ago), and he went through all sorts of stages. Fortunately, he also had a "big brother" to look after him, too, so we all took turns dealing with his energy, LOL. Your pup has such a cute face and looks so soft, that puppy fur. And they do grow so fast. You were very fortunate to have found each other...

on edit: My little Jack (five months?) and his "big brother" and BFF, Charlie.

When we brought home our current dogs nine years ago, it had been 16 years since we had puppies in the house....every day was like learning something new about puppies. Cindy shot up so fast, we called her our "Jack and the beanstalk dog".

Wait until the teeth start to fall out, you'd swear the jaw bone changes by the hour .
