Oregon: dog okay after slip and fall on hillside trail
Story hereA day out for a walk turned scary for an Oregon dog. Sandy, whose human is David Schelske, took an unexpected roll off a cliff, but somehow survived.

A yellow Labrador that got spooked on a Christmas Day hike in the Columbia Gorge, snapping her leash and plunging 46 metres down a cliff, was rescued in the dark by a climber who rappelled to a narrow ledge where the dog was trapped.
