I am caring for three chihuahuas this week!
I have never had tiny dogs before so this is quite the experience. One is the size of a squirrel! I keep staring at one of her legs and it's like a small piece of celery!
One is the size of a loaf of bread...a bit overweight. She hasn't been walked much because she's an escape artist. However, we looked up leashes and found the escape proof harness lead. She CANNOT get out and actually seems to enjoy walking. But her people don't like walking. I'm gonna see if I can keep her again another time so I can get her out more. I think I could trim her down.
The other is a small rabbit size. Has a bum leg so doesn't like to walk but will.
They just want to be held all the time. They aren't too yappy but will bark at my husband every time he leaves the room and comes back. Every time - like they just met a new person.
They are pretty much just like all other dogs. They prance around or sleep. That's it. It's been fun so far!
