Bailee Update.
I haven't had time to post considering all the crazy weather and family members that were involved..
Bailee had her stitches removed last friday. They waited a week because they were not sure if she was ready. She's off her antibiotics and pain meds. She is also THANKFULLY off her cone...she really hated that thing.
She's great but the vet says we need to wait just a bit longer to take her walking. We've done some light walking but she is still not completely up to par.
Today we took in two dogs to foster until this storm and affected people get through this horrid situation. Bailee has been very good welcoming them but is still a bit apprehensive of having two more females in the house. We have crates so they seem to be okay for now. I hope to get these sweet girls adopted soon...but texas is overwhelmed right now.
I'd like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help you fellow DU'ers have given to us. Bailee is gonna be GREAT and more comfortable! I'll post some pics soon... my cell phone crapped out and I am on a FLIP PHONE! *gasp*
