(60,010 posts)Which is why we gave our guy a mixture at meal time.
We have one cat now that prefers the dry kibble and one that prefers the canned. First guy is getting plumper.

(15,805 posts)I switched because my cat was getting to be a porker. I fed a premium brand kibble, but even so, the ingredients were of a poor quality. I studied up on the grain free kibble and compared the high quality ingredients to what I was feeding them, and that convinced me to change.
After several months on the grain free kibble both my cats seem to like their new food, and it even smells delicious to me. Their coat condition has improved remarkably, looking shinier and smoother. My once fat cat is noticeably leaner on his portion controlled diet and both seem full and they aren't crying for more food.
