Related: About this forumYard spray for fleas
I'm looking for an effective flea spray for the landscaping in my yard. Mostly planters and bark. Preferably one that I can mix for use in my pump sprayer.
I would spray where my puppy doesn't go most of the time.
Thanks

we have something like 1 billion insects per square acre of earth and >97%
are beneficial ..... we really need the bugs for our ecology to work
My dog is too small for anything strong.
Just over 2 pounds.

(38,264 posts)Frontline and the like used to work, but no longer. It's pretty much down to expensive Seresto collars and vet prescribed oral meds.
Ain't evolution great?
We've never sprayed our yard and garden, not for the twenty years we've lived here, and have never had flea trouble from the yard. I'm pretty sure the abundant spiders, ants, and other insect predators eat any flea eggs and larvae long before they become a problem.
Whenever our dogs have picked up fleas and ticks it's mostly from traveling.
We also don't have any carpet in our house.
