New pups coming this weekend

They are littermates, lived outside, and big surprise they got pregnant. The girls are only 1 1/2. 2 moms and 9 pups, nobody knows which mom each pup goes with. The pups nurse off of both moms. Sorry for the blurry pic, I haven't met any of them yet, they are coming up on Saturday. More later.

The girls lived outside the whole time the owner had them. The pups were born outside. The guy finally realized That all those pups were to much for him and turned them into the shelter

3. Do you live in one of those states where "yard dogs" are so common?

I do, and it is wrenching to hear dogs barking at 2 am when the temps are 20 degrees. All I can do is call police so they will have a report. Can't really tell where the dogs are, sound carries so far in this weather.
We do not have a law against yard dogs.

But these guys are coming up from North Carolina. All too common down there.

an unfortunate yard dog, as you remember, MM.

These babies could most likely be half-sisters/brothers, with same daddy? And with moms being sisters, that'd make them very genetically related.

Big family there, MM. Good luck. And to you for all you do. 🙏

It will be a ton of work, but I am set up for it. I had a mom and 10 pups a few years ago. Having 2 mom's will be a new one for me. The rescue had a similar situation about 10 year ago, but I wasn't involved with that one.
