(118,778 posts)I should know better because it is late at night but he's so damned cute and he is usually lying on me at the time but i am just compelled to scratch him under his chin or on his head. The other does the opposite. She sit on me when i go to bed and scratches my arm if i am paying attention to the internet instead of her, drawing blood, if i don't pet her immediately.

They would laugh if I mentioned they needed a nap, because they sleep all day and party all night. Loudly.
And sometimes the next morning there are piles of fur that look as if one of them exploded.

(34,137 posts)Then he comes and lightly taps me on the elbow with his paw. If I ignore him, the next tap has claws slightly out. Eventually if I continue to ignore him, the claws get serious.
This is why I will never own a desk chair with a mesh surface or a gap between the seat and back - the claws would go there.

(9,273 posts)When mealtime is late. I am responsible for breakfast and dinner, and my husband does bedtime snack. They both know who is responsible for which meal and will follow the appropriate person around the house meowing if lateness occurs.
