Related: About this forumI started Sophie Stinky Toes on CBD, today
Her stress reaction to the kittens didn't seem to be getting any better so I figured, what the heck. So far I've seen FAR less stress grooming. My next step was going to be making a collar cone.
She did eat a little dry food, last night, and is chowing down on chicken and scrambled eggs. I hope that once she settles down she will go back to eating cat food.
One more week and I will be (hopefully) down to 2 kittens, and I think that, along with the CBD, will mean she will have far less stress and anxiety. Well, I HOPE. She kept curling up on top of me, last night, waking and keeping me up. I ended up 'crashing' for almost four hours, this afternoon. When I woke up, I was covered with kittens. I guess I can't escape my fate of being a human cat bed. All in all, though, not a bad fate.

(26,177 posts)It's a full spectrum hemp oil with 150mg CBD. It's dispensed orally with an eye dropper. Not the easiest thing to do but so far I've managed. I don't see why you couldn't just add it to food, though.

I have dried CBD hemp that I grew, high grade stuff, dried and ready to use. I add it to a jar of quality olive oil, shake well every day for 4-6 weeks, strain and use as is or melt beeswax into it for salve. I just add it to the wet food. Start with small amt. and increase as needed.
