Ranger will have surgery on August 14th to remove a cancerous tumor. It appears to be encapsulated so we are hoping for a complete recovery.

(51,474 posts)last week with a cancerous tumor on his foreleg. We're going to Oklahoma State Univ. on Thursday to talk about possible outcomes. My vet doesn't think he can operate because of its size and location.

(3,344 posts)He came through the surgery with flying colors and the tumor came out in one piece. We get all of the lab work results in a few days. Poor guy has the cone and has to wear if for a bit.
