Related: About this forumWell, I think this qualifies as Madoc and Gryff playing
It's a kind' of a 'tug-o-war' over a long plastic strip. They've been chasing each other through the house, this afternoon. And now when Madoc swats, Gryff swats back. Never hard, but I think Gryff is gaining confidence. I'll still be keeping a close watch on what they are up to but I am going to cautiously consider this to be progress.

(26,268 posts)I got to see some of cousins I haven't seen in about 8 years. Some live in Virginia and South Carolina, and most of the rest are now in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We keep in touch on Facebook but it was so wonderful to see them all, in person, again.
My cousin's son was an only child and he was caring for his father with home hospice. I'm sure it was an over the top stressful situation. We had my dad in a hospice facility and that was stressful enough. And he was holding his father's hand as he died. My heart just breaks for him. And his wife has MS so he's had a whole lot on his plate.
And all of us commented on how, at one time, we were all getting together at weddings. Now we only see each other at funerals.
