Well, Gryff ate, this morning

Hard to tell exactly HOW much because I turned my back, for a second, and Madoc swooped in. So I separated them, gave them both a little bit of sardine with the wet food. I figured he was hungry because he ran to the kitchen, when I got up.

And, just like last night, he's full of energy. As soon as he finished eating, he let me know it was time to chase the cat teaser. He even jumped up on the bed for a snuggle, this morning, and then got into a wrestling match with Madoc. On the bed. Inches from my face.

I'm still going to keep a close eye on him.

He may have had a little queasiness from the snip job. It's always a good idea to keep watch on pets after operations and changes in medication. The fact that Gryff is playing with Madoc is another positive sign.

The last dose was Tuesday. That might have had something to do with this.

He is such a sweet kitten and settled in so fast, I'm now as emotionally attached to him as I am to Madoc.

So, given that and his VERY energetic behavior, I'm going to breathe easier. And give him lots of snuggles, today.

I keep giving him scritches and kisses. Then I have to do the same with Madoc. Well, maybe not HAVE to, but WANT to.

In 2013, I had a total hip replacement under general anesthesia and had very little appetite for days and days.

Go Gryff!!!

Which is fine. I know some cats will only eat one, or the other. Madoc will eat what ever I put in front of him, which is why I always keep my toes covered.
