(12,470 posts)Handsome Leon.
It might be pretty cool to have a lobster. They are interesting to watch .
I like how thier huge red antennae
Are always moving around. He's endearing.
I couldn't afford a lobster the cost of a big enough tank would bust my budget.
However when I was a kid I had a pet chesapeake blue crab. I saved him from a horrible death. He was too awake to die in a steam bath. His name was Peaka He was really engaging.
I could feed him by hand and sometimes he would walk up my arm and then rest in the crook of my elbow and groom. Don't ask me about when he got curious about my hair.
I didnt let him stay too long outside the tank even if he climbed on me because he wanted to.
He lived with me a few years. Peaka was surprisingly good pet.

(3,407 posts)I also had a tarantula a very long time, a friend adopted her when I moved and got married because my new husband was afraid of her. Long story short - I should have kept Morticia the tarantula and stayed single! 😉
Take Care, Say hi to Othello!
