Haven't seen him in a while so I'm glad he's OK. Nobody will give him space at the bowls!
All of the ferals are acting a little jumpy, this morning. Might be the weather - it's just feeling weird. Mittens the Kitten finally allowed some scritches but it took a few attempts.

(86,802 posts)Arctic air mass headed your way, should move across the lake by tonight. I'm on the western edge of it in western Montana, and it's -24F right now, might get a little above 0 today. It goes pretty far south and covers close to half of the US at this point so it's going to pass over your neck of the woods for a few days.
Glad all kitties are present and accounted for before the weather changes so you can know who is around. Hope everyone stays warm this week.
I've started buying vegetable seeds just to remind myself that Spring will be here. Eventually. According to the forecast, things warm up starting Sunday.
An early Spring would be so appreciated!

(86,802 posts)Real winter we've had since November, pretty much, but I can't wait to see it end. We may have received a little more than 20% of snow that I'm used to so it's going to be a hard summer. That means brutal heat, like last year, along with endless fires and smoke.

(26,294 posts)Bruiser is semi regular and Owain is a rare visitor. There's also a couple that turn up every few months. I know that someone on the other end of the subdivision feeds ferals. I'll have to wander up to her house and compare notes.
And who knows how many might show up at night. I have a Blink camera in the back of the house, but the motion detector was getting triggered ALL NIGHT LONG by ferals, racoons, opossums and the very rare appearance by a wandering dog.

(26,294 posts)Cold and blowing snow when I went out, this morning. I think the wind might be what unsettled them. It took Mittens a little longer than usual to realize it was me but as soon as she did, she was right back to scampering around my legs.
