We love our sweet cat on Friday she was almost 17

She had not been eating and lost weight we took her to the vet. Her tests came out ok but they couldn’t diagnose her unless we got an ultra sound which couldn’t occur after March 10th. They gave us prednisone and she ate again but by last Wednesday was no longer eating. She was so shaky On her feet we made the decision to alleviate her suffering. She was a very smart and sassy cat that brought great joy and laughs. Anyway Friday, my husband took her in to put down. Friday night and weekend we kept looking for her and then realizing she was gone.

But we have been hearing sounds that shows he’s still around. My husband told me he’s been having dreams of her and when he wakes up he hears her meow. I also have experienced those weird things also like the feeling she jumped up on the couch to snuggle with me. Or hearing her jump from a chair to our bed at night. And our bedroom door opening like she used to do to come in or get us up. ( though this might be in my dreams )

Has anyone else experienced cat ghost experiences? My last cat used to walk around my legs while I was cooking because something might “ end “ up on the floor for her to eat. For about a week after he died I felt they cat walks around my legs.

Do cats still haunt their owners?

2. I have cat ghosts.

I lost my cats Jeoffry and Milo only a month apart in May-June of 2020. But ever since, I've been seeing little motions out of the corner of my eye and I think it's my remaining cat, Pixie, walking into the living room, but when I turn to look there's nobody there. And I hear floor boards squeaking quietly behind me when I can see Pixie sleeping on the couch next to me.

Where else is your beloved companion going to go?

I interned in bereavement & the #1 "complaint" was that clients thought they were going crazy because they could see, hear, feel, smell their disembodied loved ones.

I gave them permission to think for themselves & every one of them was extremely grateful.

At the risk of sounding schizophrenic, I confess that I have actually seen something similar to a shadow of my Angel pets. It's happened very rarely, but comforts me and I have also felt them near me like rubbing along my legs when I'm in the kitchen.

I'm so very sorry that you lost your precious baby, but I do believe you will be together again someday. I also believe they pop in for visits.

and comfort to her grieving loved ones.

She is still with you, letting you know that she is okay. All of my babies have come to visit from time to time, which makes me very happy. It is a very special blessing from our little ones.
