Seresto Flea and Tick Collar Class Action Lawsuit Claim Review

Did You Purchase the Seresto Flea and Tick Collar?

Seresto flea & tick collars were first introduced to consumers by Bayer Healthcare in 2012, and are now sold by Elanco. The collars are supposed to keep fleas and ticks at bay by releasing a pesticide slowly for eight months, the company claims.

In March 2021, a Congressional Subcommittee “sent letters to Elanco Animal Health Inc. and Bayer U.S. LLC seeking documents and information regarding the Seresto flea and tick collars, following reports that the collars may have killed thousands of pets and caused injuries to many more pets as well as human.”

The Congressional Subcommittee said that “recently disclosed documents from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reveal that Seresto flea and tick collars were reported to have caused almost 1,700 pet deaths, over 75,000 incidents involving harm to pets, and nearly 1,000 incidents involving human harm. Additionally, a Seresto collar caused one twelve-year-old boy, who slept in bed with a dog wearing the collar, to be hospitalized due to seizures and vomiting,” reported USA Today.

On July 13, 2021, the EPA issued a press release about the Seresto Pet Collars, in which it stated:

“EPA understands and shares the public’s concerns about reported incidents with Seresto pet collars. The agency is working to gather information about these incidents and will use this information to determine whether these pet collars still meet the legally required safety standard for registration under FIFRA.”

I will never forget about the untimely death of my beloved kitty, Miss Jewels.

She suffered and died due to the poisons made by this disgusting company.

Seems you can now file and collect money via a class-action lawsuit hat has been established for the purchase of these Seresto collars.

The FACT that a 12-year old child was sickened by these collars lets know all we need to know about these poisons being used on our pets.

Please DO NOT USE these poisons!

My vet uses them. We use them. Lots of folks up in our area use them. Nope, no problems. They are the best product for our area of the world, with no illness or side effects.

The IS a problem with Seresto fakes. There are tons of companies that have been selling counterfeit Seresto collars as “on sale.” The fakes look great in terms of identical packaging and look of the collar, but they fall apart when the codes are checked. We once got burned on what looked like a slight sale, not one that looked suspiciously cheap like most do. We reported the collars and seller to Bayer, then destroyed them.

Sorry for your loss. Every medicine, flea control product, supplement, etc. comes with a risk at some level. At a base level, even strawberries or peanuts will kill *someone*. But real Seresto collars are quite safe, and far more safe than a slew of other flea products available from major manufacturers.

If I'd used these collars, I'd be filing.

These greedy companies pushing poisons make me sick and this one that is the subject of this lawsuit IS THE ONE that killed my beloved cat and no, I'll never get over it until the likes of Elanco is out of business for good!

They lost their beautiful golden lab to poisoning by Seresto collars. She told me to never put one on our pooch and to tell everyone I know not to use Seresto. I’m gonna text her now about this class action so she can keep an eye on it.
