Related: About this forumI bought a cat teaser on a long spring and suction cup, for the boys.
I put it on a sliding glass door, JUST out of Gryff's jumping reach and stretching reach from the cat tree. It's been fascinating to watch them work out how to get it.
Gryff finally figured out if he stretches AND leaps from the cat tree perch, he can grab it. Clever boy.
I'm going to move it a little lower, now, so that Madoc has a chance to grab it and feel accomplished. IF Gryff will let him, that is. This toy has almost replaced his beloved whiffle balls.

(2,567 posts)Got it for my three theater kittens (Now almost cats!). They managed to destroy it in a matter of minutes, and even after several months they still like to parade around with its dissected components. Bloody-minded little beasts!
several toys for our cat and rotate them. My cat loves the wand we bought her when we adopted her. After 6 years she still loves to drag it around, usually caterwauling as shes dragging it. She also likes for us to drag it and she chases after it as we drag it around the house. Yes she has us well trained 🤣
