Please Pray For Buddy the Cat, Who Is Recovering From a Vicious Dog Attack

Earlier this week, two twisted individuals in Philadelphia sicced their dogs on a black cat named Buddy. They encouraged the dogs, repeatedly shouting, “Good boy!” as the cat yowled. The incident was captured on surveillance footage which I won’t share here because I don’t recommend watching it. But, hey, you know how to use Google.

I am pleased to announce that Buddy is “hanging in there,” in the words of the Pennsylvania SPCA, which has been providing the little guy with round-the-clock care. I might be biased, since I’m the proud owner of a little black cat who bears a strong resemblance to Buddy, but tell me this photo of the kitty hooked up to all sorts of machines doesn’t bring a tear to your eye:

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 12-year-old and a 17-year-old are facing charges following a vicious attack on Buddy the cat in Philadelphia's Frankford section.

The 17-year-old suspect came in to the Pennsylvania SPCA with a parent to address the charges on Friday afternoon.

The 12-year-old is expected to surrender on Saturday, officials said.

Terrible awful painful things should be in their future along with tons and tons of pain. They earned it. The dogs should be put down because now they are attackers and think it's approved and desired behavior.

Although with sadness with respect to the dogs. It is not their fault they were trained to be evil. If it's possible to retrain them, maybe that can be tried.

As for the 12 year old, hopefully it wouldn't take as much to wake him up. The 17 year old is probably too far gone though.

9. I don't think the dogs can be retrained. Once they attack they cannot be trusted around animals

or people. Jacqueline Durand is an example of what aggressive, untrained dogs can do! There are many good, even tempered animals worthy of a home that are stuck in shelters. Don't waste time and money on these two who were praised for tasting blood!
